Award Criteria
The CEOF Luminaria Alumnus award recognizes an outstanding alumnus from a Diocese of Lexington school (kindergarten through 12th) who has made a significant positive impact in the community where he or she lives.
Who Can Be Nominated
Nominees must have attended one of the Diocese of Lexington schools for a minimum of one, full academic year, between kindergarten and 12th grade.
The schools in the Diocese of Lexington are:
Christ the King, Lexington
Good Shepherd, Frankfort
Holy Family, Ashland
Lexington Catholic High School
Mary Queen, Lexington
Our Lady of the Mountains, Paintsville
St. Agatha, Winchester
St. John, Georgetown
St. Leo, Versailles
St. Mark, Richmond
St. Mary, Paris
Sts. Peter and Paul, Lexington
Seton Catholic School, Lexington
Who Can Nominate
Members of a school community, including administrators, teachers, support staff, parents, and parishioners, may submit a nomination, as may members of the nominee’s community at large.
Selection
A selection committee organized by CEOF will select one Luminaria Alumnus Award recipient. The CEOF will present the award at its Luminaria dinner on April 7, 2022.
The nominations deadline for the 2022 awards has passed.
